Migration to Enonic XP.
The Norwegian Directorate for Building Quality (DiBK) is a government agency under the Ministry of Local Government and Districts. It serves as a national center of expertise in the building sector, overseeing regulations and supporting the implementation of building policies. Their focus is on municipalities, the construction industry, and the building materials market. DiBK also acts as a supervisory authority for the building materials market and is responsible for the central approval system for companies. They engage in national and international standardization efforts.
DiBK sought a simpler, more flexible, and cost-effective CMS to re-establish dibk.no and associated solutions. The goal was a platform allowing self-customization of templates and structure based on user needs, ensuring users could easily solve their tasks on the site. Continuous improvements in digital solutions were essential.
Enonic XP was selected, migrating both the website and intranet from Optimizely. A sync for user management against Azure Active Directory was also implemented.
Twice a year, regulation updates are published, which had previously been done manually. In December 2023, DiBK launched a project to semi-automate this process by retrieving new content from Lovdata into Enonic. Old content is replaced, and editors manually publish the pages to ensure accuracy. Over time, this process will become fully automated.
