Senior QA Engineer/ Associate QA Lead
We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Sri Lanka. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts based on project requirements and specifications
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and automation practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify and prioritize testing activities based on risk assessment and project timelines
- Develop test cases, based on requirements and specifications and able to work closely with developers (onsite/offshore) and client
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve defects
- Solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies and terminology
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
- 04+ years of experience in quality assurance and the ability to drive automation testing in the team
- Hands-on experience in automation testing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry standard tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of software engineering QA concepts, agile test methodology and best practices
- Self-motivated, energetic and passionate individual willing to take full ownership
- Strong communication skills
