Data Engineer Architect

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer & Business Architect to join a team working in the gaming industry. This role will focus on data engineering, integrations, ML/AI, and business architecture, shaping how data flows and leveraging AI-driven insights. Work can be fully remote and daily communication will be in English.

Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Integration: Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring seamless integration of multiple data sources into scalable architectures.
AI & Machine Learning: Implement ML/AI solutions to enhance data analytics, automation, and business intelligence capabilities.
Business Architecture: Align data and AI strategies with business goals, defining how data solutions support operational and strategic objectives.
Data Governance & Quality: Establish best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and business teams to build robust, data-driven solutions.
Optimization & Performance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability.


Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in data engineering and business architecture, working with large-scale data processing and integration.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala, and experience with modern data frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Airflow, etc.).
Expertise in ETL, data lakes, and data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Deep understanding of machine learning concepts and AI-driven analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).


Nice-to-Have

Experience with low-code and RPA solutions (OutSystems, UiPath, Power Automate) is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
Exposure to data security and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001).
