Commencing with a traditional POS for customer service, supported by a Windows client server-based software, CPU has now expanded into payment platforms covering web and mobile for over 200 customers mainly in the public sector. The product caters to cities, municipalities, universities, vocational institutes and more.

The dynamic, customer-centric CPU team focuses on providing the best user experience supported by good technology, and this is what keeps the 35-year company ahead of the competition.

Their success in Finland caught the attention of Confirma Software, a Nordic group with 10 operating companies in Scandinavian countries, and CPU has been a part of the Confirma Group since May 2019.

 

Outsourcing partner

While the CPU team managed all development themselves so far, its mobile application written in Cordova required some external support. 99x was introduced as an outsourcing partner to create some Cordova plugins and upgrade the existing features.

 

 

 

Revamping the mobile application

While working on this, the 99x team realized that the existing application could be improved further and stepped in to revamp their mobile application using React Native and improve back-end code quality by bringing in more product engineering aspects.

 

 

Extended engagement

With the success of the revamped mobile application, CPU decided to extend the 99x team to work on their e-commerce platform using WooCommerce.
