Visma Amili, formerly known as Visma Financial Solutions, is a subsidiary of the Visma Group specialized in automated credit management, invoice distribution, payment tracking, and debt collection. Leveraging modern technology and industry expertise, the company operates in Norway, with offices in Oslo, Larvik and Trondheim.  Its solutions help businesses save time, reduce costs, eliminate manual errors, shorten credit periods and improve cash flow. Additionally, they provide valuable insights through data-driven statistics for better decision-making. Some of its major clients include Rema 1000, ICE, Yve AS, and Fjordkraft. 

The Challenge 

Businesses often struggle with delayed payments, manual processing errors, and inefficient cash flow management. Visma Amili addresses these challenges by automating financial processes, minimizing human error and improving liquidity. 

Solution Overview 

Visma Amili offers a comprehensive suite of solutions to support the Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) process and other financial workflows. Their key services include: 

  • Invoice Distribution: 'Amili SEND' solution enables fast and automated invoice delivery through the most efficient channel or multiple channels. It seamlessly distributes invoices via Access Point, eFaktura (eInvoice), AvtaleGiro (direct debit), Digipost, Email, Kivra, SMS, and Print. 

  • Debt Collection: 'Amili Collect' is a debt collection solution that ensures timely payment recovery. In Step 1, debt collection notices are sent through convenient channels trying to get the settlement done at least as installments. If unsuccessful, Step 2 involves legal action, followed by continuous follow-up and monitoring until the payment is received. 

  • Receivable Management: 'Amili ARM' provides a flexible and efficient invoice management system for accounts receivable. It handles invoice generation, payment reminders, payment allocation to customer accounts, reconciliations and remittances, the management of overpayments, underpayments, premiums, and small discrepancies etc.

Partnership with 99x 

Visma Amili's partnership with 99x dates back eight years, beginning with a two-member team from 99x when Amili was known as "Compello Connect" under Compello AS. It was later rebranded as "Compello SEND," during which we focused on enhancing its existing solution and developing user-friendly front-end applications. As software ages, and in a move towards modernization, we initiated the migration of its legacy solution to Azure. In 2021, Compello was acquired by Visma, and the SEND team and solution became part of Visma Amili in 2024. Today, Visma Amili consists of two sub-teams related to document and message distribution: Amili SEND and Amili EDI. The SEND team is also looking into how the ARM solution could be integrated closer to SEND distribution in the future. The team has grown significantly, and we continue to add value to Amili through our expertise in both domain knowledge and technology.
