The Client

Our client is a Swiss hospitality group operating a network of premium resorts across multiple locations. Their operations relied on a legacy staff management system that had become a bottleneck for growth, alongside a dated guest-facing mobile application that no longer met modern expectations for digital guest experiences.

With the need to empower resort staff to manage their properties more efficiently while delivering a seamless experience for guests, the client sought a technology partner capable of replacing their entire digital infrastructure with modern, scalable solutions.

Unified Backend Architecture

We developed a Python-based service layer that serves as the backbone for both the internal staff platform and the public-facing guest application. This unified approach ensures data consistency, reduces maintenance overhead, and enables rapid feature deployment across all channels.

Modern Staff Management Platform

The legacy system was completely replaced with a new React-based frontend. We chose Shadcn for the design system, leveraging its well-established component library to accelerate development without sacrificing quality. For an internal management platform, this approach provided the perfect balance between delivery speed and professional appearance, without the need for extensive custom design work.

Guest-Facing Mobile Application

For the guest application, we built a React Native solution with a fully custom design system that reflects the client's brand identity. Unlike the staff platform, this public-facing application required distinctive visual design that creates a memorable guest experience and reinforces brand recognition across every touchpoint.

Comprehensive Testing Strategy

Quality assurance was built into every layer of the architecture. The backend service includes both unit and integration tests to ensure reliability. The staff platform and mobile application both feature unit testing coverage, providing confidence in deployments and enabling continuous improvement.
