About Forskerforbundet
Forskerforbundet is Norway’s largest union and advocacy organization for employees in research, higher education, and knowledge dissemination, with over 26,000 members. Their members hold scientific, administrative, and library positions across universities, colleges, research institutes, museums, archives, healthcare institutions, and public administration linked to research and higher education.
Challenge
Forskerforbundet sought to enhance communication with its members and the public through a website redesign and system upgrade, aiming to provide a modern interface for information sharing and offer staff a more user-friendly content management system.
Solution
The calendar and registration page were based on fields from the CRM, with an intuitive interface for administrators and users. The design drew inspiration from services like AirBnB and Google Calendar. The website, developed on Enonic XP, offers easy navigation and advanced filtering options for events and courses.
