Lisbon, July 14, 202599x Portugal, a tech company specialized in boosting the digital potential of organizations, currently has 40 open positions and is looking for professionals in various IT fields to join its growing team. The company is undergoing a significant expansion in both business and headcount.

The main profiles in demand include Backend Developers (Java, .NET, Node.js), Frontend Developers (React, Angular), DevOps Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Data Engineers.

“We’re hiring to support the new national and international clients we’ve consistently been winning, as well as to reinforce long-term partnerships that rely on us to scale new initiatives,” explains Carlos Coutinho, CEO of 99x Portugal.

In addition, with a reinforced strategic focus on Data and AI, the company is seeking to grow its team with professionals in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative AI, supporting the development of solutions where analytics and intelligent automation take center stage.

Qualifications vary by role but typically include a degree in Computer Engineering or related fields, hands-on experience with key technologies (Java, .NET, React, etc.), fluency in English (essential for international collaboration), and knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Depending on each role and its physical requirements, applicants from other EU countries or Brazil are also eligible.

With a current headcount of over 100 employees, 99x Portugal’s team works from north to south, including the islands, from home with flexible schedules adapted to the time zones of international teams when needed.

Regarding the nature of the projects, Carlos Coutinho adds: “We’re internationally focused, so most of our projects follow that direction. However, we also run projects in Portugal, often with international clients operating from here. In terms of sectors, we’re highly diverse, with highlights in FinTech, e-commerce, automotive, and logistics.”
